About 8 years ago I entered perimenopause and my life changed. Along with the expected physiological shifts that arrive with hormonal changes, I started to notice other areas of my life in need of intervention.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but my life was in a state of transition.
At the height of my physical and mental fatigue, I joined a 12-week metabolic health program. As part of the program, I had a baseline bloodwork test and a mandatory blood pressure check. Some of my results were alarming and it became clear that I needed to adjust my priorities.
This was a pivotal moment.
After laser-focussed attention to my health I was able to make significant impact through lifestyle changes. Once I witnessed this firsthand, I knew I had to continue on this journey. Subsequently, I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and started a business.
As an agent of change with Alison Taylor Wellness Inc., I will help women navigate through the challenges that come with midlife.

Cadence: Meet weekly through virtual connection for one hour to work through specific health goals.
Benefit: We'll prioritize health goals and determine actionable steps to achieve them. Weekly cadence helps build new habits and maintain accountability.
Cadence: Meet every two weeks through virtual connection for one hour to work through specific health goals.
Benefit: Biweekly cadence allows for deep dive into goals with opportunity to adjust when necessary. This program includes a midpoint check in via email between visits for added support and attention.
Working in a group setting can be a beneficial way to learn from other women and gain valuable insight.
This service is capped at six women per group to allow for intimate discussion and comfortable conversation.
This program is customized to meet the needs of female employees especially those in midlife. The program consists of two one-hour sessions. After a preliminary assessment, the first session is designed to address the collective needs of the female employees and includes a small take home assignment. The second session will review the results of the assignment and answer any outstanding questions. The number of attendees is unlimited.
